Today’s show features a mixture or recordings from the 1930s through to the early 1960s. We listen to instrumental pieces from Bobby Hackett, Woody Herman and Robert Farnon. Among our singers today, we have a duet from Dick Haymes and Helen Forrest as well as delightful recordings from Chris Connor and Beryl Davis. List too to the orchestra led by Harry James, who are joined by singer Marion Morgan. And we enjoy a fine recordings by Peggy Lee who joins the Benny Goodman orchestra in 1941.
