On today’s show we listen to classic voice from the 1940s through to 1969, Among our ladies we feature Anita O’Day, Sarah Vaughan in an early recording with Miles Davis and Helen Ward with Teddy Wilson who bring us the Gershwin classic “Embraceable You”. Our gentlemen include Bing Crosby with the Bobcats in their recording of “New San Antonio Rose”, as well as Sammy Davis Jr in a duet with guitarist Mundell Lowe. Enjoy too the ever lovely Ella Fitzgerald from 1959 and Mel Tormé from 1960!
