On today’s show we feature a selection of artists in recordings from the 1920s to the late 1950s. Jean Goldkette joins us in our earliest recording with Big Beiderbecke from 1926, and our latest recording is from Bobby Hackett and his Quartet from 1959. We hear songs from several big bands, including Chick Webb, Count Basie and Don Rodman, and our small groups today feature Sidney Bechet, Clyde Hurley, Edmond Hall and Bud Freeman, among others. Enjoy their wonderful music!!
