Today’s show brings us recordings from the 1930s to the 1950s. We are joined by jazz and popular singers such as Mildred Bailey, Mel Torme and Mildred Bailey, accompanied by big bands and smaller groups. Also in the line up, we’ll hear instrumentals from larger orchestras, like those led by Benny Goodman and Bob Crosby. All of our recordings feature the tremendous talent that was around at the time, and those wonderful songs from the great songwriters of the century!
