Our selection today features musicians and singers in recordings between 1929 and 1962. Fats Waller starts us off in his inimitable style with “You Had An Evening To Spare” from 1938. Among the lovely voices in our line up we’ll hear from Helen Forrest, Doris Day, Ethel Waters and Bobby Darin. In recordings from the 1940s and 1950s, Sidney Bechet, Armand Hug and Bud Freeman showcase some fine jazz along with their small jazz groups. And we’ll conclude with the delightful voice of Tony Bennett from 1951. Enjoy the wonderful music!
