Today’s show features recordings from 1938 to 1962, with a spotlight on singers, including some who were also major musicians of their day, such as Fats Waller and Chet Baker. Dean Martin joins us again with a delightful rendition of “It’s Easy to Remember”, and we also hear Tony Bennett with “Stranger in Paradise”. We listen as well to Ella Fitzgerald, as well as Marion Morgan, who is accompanied by the orchestra of Harry James. And we conclude with Vic Damone, bringing us one of his major hits, “On The Street Where You Live”. Enjoy some lovely voices!
