Today we listen to a range of singers, musicians and big bands in recordings from the 1930s through to the 1960s. Doris Day joins us in a lovely duet with Andre Previn, and we hear too from Billie Holiday and Beryl Davis. Big Bands, including those led by Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington and Woody Herman bring us fine examples of their art, as do musicians in the smaller groups format such as Adrian Rollini. Enjoy what music fans were listening to back then, still as wonderful today!
