Today we listen to a selection of recordings from the 1930s to the 1950s. We feature musicians in small jazz groups, some big bands and accompanying singers of the time. Among those we hear from are two great drummers, Buddy Rich and Chick Webb, as well as singers Dick Haymes, Kitty Kallen and Dean Martin, and the big orchestras led by Charlie Barnet and Jimmy Dorsey. Enjoy these excellent artists with their timeless recordings of the great tunes in jazz and popular music!
