On today’s show we feature recordings from the 1920s through to the late 1950s. We listen to some fabulous singers and musicians, as ever, but this time with a slightly different focus. We’ll hear from musicians who sang as well as played in the band or groups. Some of our featured artists did this frequently, others were occasional purveyors of lyrics, but all were wonderful performers who produced lovely versions of the jazz and popular standards. Enjoy our singing musicians!
