On this week’s show we celebrate the beginning of autumn, which this year began yesterday, September 23. Our recordings include songs about the season, fall weather, the leaves and the month of September. We’ll listen to Frank Sinatra with September Song from 1946 and Chet Baker, with his 1954 recording of “Lullaby Of The Leaves”. We enjoy a duet from Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong with the fall classic “Autumn In New York” as well as Nat King Cole who brings us “‘Tis Autumn”. And a delightful rendition of the seasonal classic “Autumn Leaves” from The George Melachrino Strings. Enjoy some lovely music for a lovely time of year!
