Today’s show features some lovely female vocalists, among whom we’ll hear from Dinah Shore, Helen Humes and June Christy. We’ll also listen to a fine duet from Billy Eckstine and Sarah Vaughan from their 1957 album “Passing Strangers”, showcasing the work of Irving Berlin. Bobby Hackett brings us some fine trumpet in a 1957 recording of “Rose Room”, as does Jonah Jones from 1944 with friends on their recording of “You Can Depend on Me”. And enjoy the Dorsey Brothers with singer Bob Crosby from 1935 in their salute to Broadway!
